Led by Chef Fabio Poli, the menu showcases elevated Mauritian gastronomy with creative flair. Dishes often feature fresh, locally sourced ingredients—like grilled fish with christophine fricassée, duck breast with a local sauce, or breadfruit gratin. Desserts such as vanilla crème brûlée or caramelised banana add a sweet finish. Service is attentive and professional, enhancing the overall experience. We absolutely loved this restaurant. I ordered the King prawn mascarpone risotto and it was the best meal I had in a while. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. Staff is well trained and kind. We also enjoyed the atmosphere with a view of the museum and nice background songs. Must visit restaurant in Mauritius!

The Labourdonnais estate has been home to the Wiehe family for over 150 years. Established in 1856, it underwent extensive renovations in 2006, preserving its elegant 19th-century colonial architecture. After touring the estate, visitors can stroll through its lovely gardens and historic orchard. In addition to preserving native plants, the estate also boasts over 50 varieties of century-old mango trees, spices, and a variety of tropical fruit trees. There is also a paid juice bar next to the restaurant.
