My Review

Pabs Palace, also known as Rozario, is a popular street food spot located on Rue Chasteauneuf in Curepipe. Known for its soft, fresh rotis and dholl puris, the stall serves hearty fillings like gros pois, bredesonge, and rougaille, all spiced to perfection. Their signature chilli paste adds a bold kick that regulars love. The food is affordable, portions are generous, and the flavours are rich and comforting—making it a go-to for a quick, satisfying meal. Though the setup is simple with limited seating, the warm service and consistent quality keep people coming back. It’s a favourite among locals, especially during lunch hours. Pabs Palace is an essential stop for anyone craving authentic Mauritian roti in the heart of Curepipe.

Nice spot to taste a nice faratha with both vegetarian and non veg options. Veg are at Rs20 each. Non veg starts at Rs55. Everytime I am in the area, I will go have a quick bite. There is a seating area with chairs table. You also have a wide variety of cold drinks to quench your thirst.

One of the famous places to grab a ‘roti’ in curepipe. Despite being thin, the taste is nice and most probably you’ll end up eating more than one! 😅
