The menu blends Indian Ocean and Mauritian influences, featuring dishes like seafood curries, grilled fish, calamari, salads, and flavourful starters—all served in generous portions. Signature cocktails, like a mojito infused with curry leaves, add a creative twist to the experience. Service is friendly and attentive, though it may slow down during peak hours. While slightly pricier than typical eateries, the quality, ambience, and unique flavours make it a standout in the capital.

A nice, quiet place, hidden from outside busy street. It is like oasis. Food is excellent, top! We visited Wapalapam in Le morne and were thrilled. I think they have the same menu. That is why we came here when we visited Port Luis. All food that we had is superb.

Warm welcome! Cozy atmosphere in the middle of the crowded Portlouis Good food – generous portions Curries and rice can be shared for two if you are small portion eaters Lovely taste!

We visited Wapalapam based on the excellent reviews (even rated best restaurant in Port Louis according to TripAdvisor!) – the setting is really nice, like a hip oasis in the middle of the bustling city center…. We were excited about the menu and ordered a few dishes which sounded tasty: Wapalapam Mojtos, Ceviche, Fried Shrimp and grilled fish…
